Procurement Matters (1 day): This workshop can be delivered to businesses and organizations which want to improve management of their procurement activities and risk management in relation to contract arrangements with suppliers and contractors.
Aim:
- Raise awareness and increase understanding of key commercial and legal issues and risks throughout the lifecycle of a contract/project including the initial business need, preparation of the invitation to tender, evaluation of tenders/proposals, contract negotiations, provision of services by suppliers/contractors to end of contract/project.
- Enable workshop participants to identify and assess these key risks and develop strategies to deal with such risks.
Who Should Attend? Anyone involved in procurement decisions, preparation of invitation to tenders, contract negotiations with suppliers or contractors/sub-contractors and supervision or management of contracts with suppliers or contractors/sub-contractors.
